Nat Geo app MVP
UX/UI | 2015
Nat Geo is, above all, its images.
Redesigning their app meant building an experience that could hold that visual weight: live and on demand content, articles, photography, without getting in the way.
The navigation had to step back so it wouldn't compete with the visual content, which is the heart of the channel.
We rebuilt the information hierarchy so users always knew where to go, without ever feeling overwhelmed.
Building that foundation from scratch, knowing everything that came after would rest on it, was a big responsibility. Working for a brand like National Geographic demanded nothing less.
